A dialogical approach to restoring impaired speech communication in adolescents through family group speech therapy

The article is devoted to the scientific substantiation and practical application of the dialogic approach in the process of restoring impaired speech communication in stuttering adolescents and adults through family group speech therapy. The article describes the speech, communication and personal difficulties of adolescents with stuttering, as well as dialogical relationships in their families. The stages, principles and methods of providing assistance to stuttering adolescents in different age groups with the active participation of their parents are revealed. The features of building a dialogue in a group at each stage of social rehabilitation work are described. The results of using dialogue as a means of restoring impaired speech communication in adolescents in the group and in the family are presented. The effectiveness of the dialogical approach in overcoming stuttering in adolescents and in harmonizing child-parent relations is shown. Teaching dialogue between adolescents and parents in the family is a means of preventing the recurrence of speech defects and minimizing difficulties during the adolescent crisis.Downloads
